The short version

You can take the quiz and read every guide on this site without giving us your email address. If you do give it, we use it to send your result and occasional practical emails, and you can leave at any time. We do not sell your information.

What we collect

• Quiz answers. Stored with an anonymous session identifier so we can show your result and understand which questions confuse people.
• First name and email address, only if you choose to enter them on the result screen.
• Basic usage events, such as starting the quiz or clicking a recommendation. These do not contain your name, email, or answer text.
• Referral information, such as UTM parameters and the page you landed on, so we know which articles are useful.

How we use it

• To show and email your quiz result and next steps.
• To send follow-up emails with practical guidance, if you opted in.
• To improve the questions, the guides, and the recommendations.

We do not use your answers to make claims about your mental health, and we do not share individual answers with anyone.

Email

Email is optional and consent is never pre-ticked. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Unsubscribing does not affect your access to anything on this site.

Cookies and storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your quiz progress, an anonymous session identifier, and referral details. If analytics or advertising tools are enabled, they may set their own cookies; you can block these in your browser without breaking the quiz.

Third parties

Some links on this site point to other companies' products, and we may earn a commission if you buy. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not pass your personal details to them. Our hosting, database, and email providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.

Keeping and deleting data

Quiz events are kept in aggregate form. If you joined the email list, we keep your name and address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email hello@feelingstuckinlife.com and we will action it.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
